There are many things you can do to improve the way
your business operates. You've probably been able to put some of them into
practice. But did you ever try to change something about your business only to
find that you couldn't do it because your off-the-shelf software wouldn't
support it?
There's an answer.
After years of experience in the development
industry. The 5-step process is applied to every project no matter how big or
small. Without a process like this, all the nightmares you've heard about
software development can become a reality. We make sure that neither of us has
to go through that.

address your needs. These processes are then translated into software solutions
that will empower your organization and help you gain an edge in today's
competitive markets.
Technical and
User Documentation
No solution would be complete or maintainable without an
appropriate level of documentation. At RC, we believe that documentation at all
levels of the development lifecycle is crucial for the continuity of a project.
Technical documentation starts with project inception and is maintained and
versioned in our central management systems. These documents form the backbone
of the technical documentation provided to our clients that detail installation
instructions, maintenance procedures, system structure, and all the information
necessary for the continued support of our products throughout their lifespan.
User documentation is also started early on in the process and reined as the
project progresses. The style and the content of the user documentation is
tailored to the audience. Delivery methods also vary to include online help
systems, printed materials, training curriculums, computer based training,
etc.

Development Methodology
Scope- The goal of
Scope is to gain a very clear understanding of the users' needs and
expectations, including screen shots, work flow, required fields, technologies
used on the network, applications that will share information, and the required
timeline. Once the scope has been clearly defined in writing and agreed to by
the client, Pre-Development begins.
Pre-Development- The
goal of Pre-Development is to order any required software or hardware and set
up the lines of communication between ITS and the client. A communication web
site is set up to view the project progress and report bugs and changes. Having
this clear path of communication prior to development reduces development time
and confusion.
Development- The goal of Development is to
produce the agreed-upon Scope document requirements. During this phase, group
meetings are held with the client's key decision makers to review the current
progress and any new issues. This is typically the longest phase of the overall
process.
Testing and Beta Delivery - The goal of Testing
is to test the application in a betaproduction environment and correct any
bugs. After completion of testing, the beta application is turned
over to the client for a testing period. Several rounds of testing are included
with changes to the application made in between testing.
Integration and Installation marks the delivery
of the final product and its integration into the live production environment.
If training is included in the Scope it is performed here. Any agreed-upon
documentation is also provided at this point. The project completion form is
signed upon delivery of the final product. Final payment is also made after
sign off.
